Apple Watch Series 10 was introduced the most significant design shift in several generations, marked by a much thinner profile and the largest display ever on a standard Apple Watch. It fully supports the latest watchOS 12 features and is expected to receive software updates until at least 2030.

| Blood Pressure Trends | Sleep Apnea Detection | New-Generation Sensors |
| Monitors relative changes in your blood pressure over time. Alert you to a potentially concerning upward trend. Advise you to check with a traditional cuff or doctor. | Uses existing sensors (heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep movement) to screen for signs of obstructive sleep apnea and provide a risk assessment report. | Improved optical sensors for more accurate heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), and potentially new biomarkers. |
Design
The radically thinner case for improved comfort and a new aesthetic. A new, secure magnetic latching system for bands, freeing up internal space for a larger battery or components. Maximized screen area for better readability and new, more information-dense watch faces.

Battery
The battery life remains at an all-day 18 hours with normal use. However, it features faster charging capabilities, reaching up to 80% charge in about 30 minutes due to a larger and more efficient charging coil.
· All‑day battery life
· Up to 18 hours of normal use
· Up to 36 hours in Low Power Mode
· Built‑in rechargeable lithium‑ion battery
· Fast‑charge capable
· Up to 80% charge in about 30 minutes
· 15 minutes for up to 8 hours of normal use
· 8 minutes for up to 8 hours of sleep tracking
Performance
It is powered by the new S10 SiP with a 4-core Neural Engine for enhanced performance and power efficiency for features like on-device Siri and the double tap gesture.
New health features include FDA-cleared sleep apnea notifications, which use the accelerometer to monitor breathing disturbances during sleep. It also incorporates a depth gauge and water temperature sensor for water activities, previously exclusive to the Apple Watch Ultra models. The new Vitals app in watchOS 11 provides comprehensive overnight health metrics and insights into how different factors affect your health.
