Design
The phone features a new contoured edge, a color-infused back glass with a textured matte finish, and a Ceramic Shield front cover that is tougher than any other smartphone glass, with aluminum frame, and IP68 water resistance.
Display
A 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and a peak outdoor brightness of 2000 nits, up to two times brighter in the sun compared to the iPhone 14. It also incorporates the Dynamic Island for alerts and Live Activities.
The display notch is replaced by the Dynamic Island, which fluidly expands and adapts to show alerts and Live Activities such as who is calling, music controls, and flight status, even while you are using other apps.
Performance
It comes preloaded with iOS 17, offering features like Contact Posters and StandBy mode.
Powered by the A16 Bionic chip (previously in the iPhone 14 Pro models), it offers smooth performance for gaming and multitasking.
Camera System
The main camera receives a major upgrade to 48MP, enabling super-high-resolution photos with amazing detail.
